Creating the government of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in exile should be reconsidered, according to the chairman of the Kherson city Mejlis Ibrahim Suleymanov.

Suleymanov said this during a roundtable meeting in the Kherson Regional State Administration on March 2, organized on the occasion of the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

"Perhaps, we need to reconsider the structure of institutions in charge of Crimea. In my opinion, these institutions that exist today are not enough to effectively see the whole picture of what is happening in Crimea, to systematize information," Suleymanov said.

He reminded the idea to create a government of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in exile to organize all the problems concerning Crimea and solve them collectively.

In particular, he mentioned the current healthcare problems in Crimea, including COVID-19 vaccination and environmental issues.

Suleymanov expressed support for the Crimean Platform as a tool to address the issues related to de-occupation.
