Ukrainian defenders freed 3,800 square kilometers in the Kharkiv region. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar on Facebook.

"Today, at a briefing in Balaklei, I reported that since September 6, as a result of an offensive operation in Kharkiv Oblast, 3,800 square kilometers have been freed, more than 300 settlements, about 150,000 people!," wrote Maliar.

According to the deputy head of the defense department, these are confirmed figures taking into account stabilization measures.

"The real number of liberated territories in the Kharkiv region is almost twice as much. The data will be clarified tomorrow", she added.
