Apart from the main meeting of the Crimean Platform Summit on August 23, four other thematic panels will be held in Kyiv, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba announces.
His statement came during the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Image of Ukraine", in his address presenting events dedicated to Ukraine’s Independence Day.
"Apart from the main meeting, four thematic panels with the participation of heads of delegations will be held at the summit to discuss the following steps: non-recognition of the attempted annexation of Crimea, militarization of the Azov-Black Sea region, ways to reintegrate Crimea through human rights and sustainable development, and restoration of rights of the Crimean Tatar people," Kuleba said.
The minister expressed hope that partners would continue to join the summit, noting that the declaration adopted at the summit would be open for signing.
"The summit will end, but the countries that for one reason or another could not take part in it, they will join the declaration, the principles and steps that it provides," he said.
