Azerbaijan is trying to force Armenia to comply with the tripartite agreements signed following the Karabakh war in 2020.

Commenting on the military clashes between the armies of Azerbaijan and Armenia, former officer of the Israel Defense Forces, military expert Yigal Levin told the news agency QIRIM.News.

According to him, Baku does not believe that Armenia fulfills these conditions and the military conflict is taking place for this reason.

At the same time, Levin notes that the Kremlin is not interested in a military clash in the Caucasus.

"It is necessary to understand that Putin does not want to get in conflict with either Erdogan or Aliyev. He actually remained isolated, without friends. It is clear that Aliyev and Erdogan are not his friends, he maintains a more or less working relationship with them, as well as they with him. That's why Putin doesn't want to break the last pots", the expert said.

Levin also expressed doubt that the CSTO countries will intervene in the conflict and they are not going to transfer troops from these countries and send them to the Caucasus.
