On July 21, Ben Wallace, the British defense minister, explained what weapons and military equipment will be included in the new aid package for Ukraine. 2 billion dollars will be spent on drones, anti-tank weapons, and guns. The information was published by the Reuters аgency.
Ben Wallace said that Britain will continue to
strengthen the defense of Ukraine. That is why in June Boris Johnson's
government allocated 1.2 billion dollars for military aid.
The Armed Forces will soon receive:
- NLAW anti-tank complexes – 1,600 units;
- artillery guns - tens of units;
- projectiles – 50,000 pieces;
- drones - hundreds of units;
- counter-battery radar systems.
