With the conduct of hostilities for the liberation of Crimea, the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people does not rule out other events.
He stated this in an interview with Apostrophe.
According to Chubarov, in particular, negotiations are possible regarding the aggressor country's withdrawal of its troops from Crimea, provided that the peninsula is completely cut off from Russia itself, with which Crimea is now connected by a bridge.
"Let's imagine that the bridge will be blown up by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the ships of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia will be subjected to brutal attacks, and many of them will be destroyed in the Black Sea or in the places of deployment at the bases of the Black Sea Fleet in Crimea. The corridor will also be blocked by land, which is currently operating through the occupied areas of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. As soon as these three factors are destroyed, Russia's position regarding the retention of Crimea will be absolutely vulnerable," he said.
