In fact, there was a protest in Crimea, but it was not so active... Because now Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and all other cities feel the strong power and support of our military and volunteers, which, unfortunately, we did not have in Crimea in the 2014 year at the end of February. Tamila Tasheva, the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea, said this in an interview with Sonia Koshkina.

"We didn't have a strong Armed Forces of Ukraine, we actually had no government — Yanukovych escaped the country, Turchynov just took his post. Therefore, it is very important to remember. I think that if the situation with Crimea had been now when everyone understands that there is a government and a strong army, we would have had a completely different situation", Tasheva emphasized.
