Since March 6, more than 1,100 enemy soldiers have been killed just in the Bakhmut direction.
President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in a video message.
"In less than one week - since March 6 - and only in the Bakhmut direction, more than 1,100 enemy soldiers were destroyed - these are irreversible losses for Russia, losses right near Bakhmut," Zelensky said.
Furthermore, according to him, dozens of units of enemy equipment were destroyed. Plus, more than ten Russian ammunition warehouses were burned.
The President thanked every soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian intelligence - "Shaman" fighters, National Guardsmen, and our border guards, that is all those who really fight for the Ukrainian land, for Bakhmut.
"Thank you to everyone who helped our soldiers again this week, treated them after injuries, looked for something to support them, organized volunteer meetings, and sent to the front what was requested from there! Together, in unity, we will come to a victory," Zelensky emphasized.
