More than 1,375 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 459 children died and more than 916 were injured of various degrees of severity.
This is reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
"Children were most affected in the Donetsk region - 440, Kharkiv - 270, Kyiv - 123, Kherson - 85, Zaporizhzhia - 84, Mykolayiv - 83, Chernihiv - 68, Luhansk - 66, Dnipropetrovsk - 63", according to the message.
Among the recent events: on January 24, two girls aged 8 and 16 were wounded as a result of enemy shelling in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region.
3,126 educational institutions were damaged due to bombing and shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. 337 of them were completely destroyed.
