Russia's illegal occupation of Crimea, from the territory of which the south of Ukraine was later attacked, shows that Putin "will not stop until he is stopped".

Ukraine's representative to international organizations in Vienna, Yevheny Tsimbaliuk, stated this at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, Ukrinform reports.

In his speech, the head of the Ukrainian mission to the OSCE drew attention to the recent condemnation by the occupying "authorities" in Crimea of 32 participants of the action in support of the Crimean Tatars.

The diplomat emphasized that this is another evidence that there is no other way to guarantee freedom and human rights, except to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine in full.

"However, the "Crimea case" is also a stark reminder that Putin will not stop until he is stopped. It was from Crimea that Russia transferred its troops and military equipment to occupy the south of Ukraine. It is from Crimea that Russian troops receive reinforcements for the continuation of aggression. It is control over Crimea that allows Russia to try to provoke a global food crisis. Crimea itself is an example of what could happen in the future if Putin is allowed to take a tactical pause. There will be another attack", Tsymbaliuk said.
