In occupied Crimea, more than 300 cases of persecution of people for their pro-Ukrainian position have been recorded.

This was stated by the Representative of the President in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Tamila Tasheva, in an interview with Ukrinform.

"As of now, we are aware of more than 300 cases of persecution of people for their pro-Ukrainian position in occupied Crimea. And this is only what we know about from the occupation court registers," said Tasheva.

Speaking about the intensification of pro-Ukrainian processes in Crimea, she noted that the number of individual protests have risen. She is often shown photos of a Ukrainian flag being raised on the peninsula etc. Tasheva also showed the chevron of the "Crimean Fighting Seagulls" resistance movement, which was sent to her from occupied Crimea.

"But we know just the "tip of the iceberg" of the resistance that takes place there. Different people are involved in these processes: some distribute pro-Ukrainian leaflets, and some sing Ukrainian songs in schools or at weddings. One girl recorded a video on TikTok in which she said "I don't like Putin, and Zelensky is a hero". The occupants forced her to apologize. A woman made a tattoo "Crimea is Ukraine", and for this, she was fined. "The Armed Forces are coming" inscriptions appear on the walls of minibus taxis," the representative of the President in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea said.
