Finnish President Sauli Niiniste told details of a conversation with Putin in an interview with Swedish television SVT.

In an interview, the Finnish leader said that Vladimir Putin "had a justification" for Russia's military actions in the Ukrainian Donbas.

"You are currently bombing children, women, and people in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol who have nothing to do with Donbas," Niinisto said during the conversation.

In response to such a statement, the head of the aggressor country "responded" in silence.
