Ukraine will return Crimea which is occupied by the Russians without a fight.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, The Atlantic reports, citing Krym.Realii.
Journalists note that the Russians are trying to turn the peninsula into a fortress, Ukraine is talking about the "military-political" liberation of the peninsula, and not about a purely military counteroffensive.
The publication noted that once Ukrainian troops block roads, rail, and waterways to the peninsula and attack military infrastructure with drones, "it is safe to assume that many Russian residents, especially recent migrants, will be convinced that they are better off living somewhere else," adding that some the Russians had already fled after the explosion on the Crimean bridge and other explosions on the peninsula.
"We will take Crimea without a fight", the publication quotes Reznikov as saying.
