More than 30 speakers of parliaments and heads of interparliamentary associations and assemblies have confirmed their participation in the First Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimean Platform, which will be held at the end of October in Croatia. This was announced by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, during a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament of the Kingdom of Belgium, Elian Tillot.

On the Facebook page, he noted that it is also important for Ukraine that the Parliament of Belgium be present at this landmark meeting.

"The summit is intended to activate the parliamentary dimension of the work that Ukraine is doing together with international partners on the issue of the de-occupation of Crimea. And on the example of Ukrainian Crimea, we should discuss the issue of global security," the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament emphasized.

Stefanchuk noted that now the whole world is watching the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and they would not be possible without the support of our partners.

"And this summit is a big part of our joint victory," the head of the Verkhovna Rada added.
