Storm Shadow long-range missiles have enough range to strike deep into the Russian-occupied par of Ukrainian territory.

Military expert Mykhailo Zhirokhov told the Mind publication about this.

According to him, a Western official told CNN that Great Britain received an assurance from the Ukrainian government that these missiles would be used only on the sovereign territory of Ukraine, and not on the territory of Russia.

"At the same time, British officials constantly make public statements that Crimea is a sovereign territory of Ukraine, describing it as "illegally annexed," he noted.

Zhirokhov added that the Storm Shadow can be equipped with several types of combat units, including monoblock and cassette. The most interesting penetrating tandem combat unit is BROACH (Bomb Royal Ordnance Augmenting Charge).

"The principle of operation is quite simple: when approaching the target (bunker, building), the first combat unit will be activated, breaking through a passage for the second, which will explode in the middle. Such a combat unit is effective against various fortifications, underground structures, bridges, and bunkers," the expert said.
