After the explosion of the dam of the Kakhovka HPP, when a large part of the water spills over a large area, it will make a large part of the Dnipro River impassable for a long time, at least for several months.
This was stated by military expert Pavlo Lakiichuk in a comment to QIRIM.News, commenting on the consequences for the Defense Forces of Ukraine of the detonation on the morning of June 6 by the Russian occupiers of the Kakhovka HPP.
According to the expert, Moscow is using old Soviet tactics, which will, unfortunately, have consequences for the de-occupation of the left bank of the Dnipro.
"This allows the enemy to secure himself on the left flank of the Dnipro bank, to concentrate his forces in other directions. I also think that we will have to adjust our plans for a counterattack from the Kherson direction. It's scary. But the point that is even scarier is the Soviet-Russian machine which did not take into account people, neither its own population nor the Ukrainian population," he said in a comment to QIRIM.News.
It will be remindedthat the Operational Command "Pivden" ["South"] reported that Russian occupation forces blew up the Kakhovka HPP.
