American congressmen from both parties introduced a resolution in the House of Representatives of the US Congress demanding that the war in Ukraine end with a return to the 1991 borders.

The congressmen indicate that "US policy is that Ukraine must defeat the occupiers and restore its internationally recognized borders within the framework of 1991", that is, including Crimea and other territories captured by the Russian Federation.
The resolution also calls on Ukraine to join NATO. In addition, the document states that Russia should pay reparations and Kremlin officials should stand trial for war crimes.
