Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky is currently in Turkey on an official visit.

On July 27, the Joint Coordination Center for the "Grain Corridor" started working in Istanbul.

The minister commented on the situation with the export of Ukrainian grain through seaports.

According to the official, Turkey played a role in the agreement reached on the grain corridor.

"It is difficult to overestimate its very large role in Turkey. The personal role of the President and the Government of the Republic of Turkey. It obviously helped to reach agreements along the corridor. This will ease the global situation with grain prices in the world and will enable Ukrainian farmers to work better", the minister said.

Speaking about the shelling of Odesa ports, Mykola Solsky noted that Ukraine will try to export its grain to world markets.

"We know that Russia is capable of many things. At the same time, we have parties to this agreement, namely Turkey and the UN, and within the framework of the agreements, we will try to export grain by doing everything necessary in Ukraine and at the ports", he said.

The minister also noted that every person in the world is suffering because of Russian aggression.

"The more there will be an unambiguous common position in the world, the more it will be louder, the sooner this war will end", the Ukrainian minister emphasized.
