The liberation of Southern Ukraine and Crimea in 2023 is directly related to the timely provision of highly effective military weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Mejlis, Refat Chubarov, on his Facebook page.
He named the possible actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to which conditions will be created for the liberation of Crimea.
"In the issue of the future liberation of Crimea occupied by the Russian Federation, military experts, both foreign and Ukrainian, agree in their opinions, discussing the following possible actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: destruction/decommissioning of the bridge across the Kerch Strait; destruction of Russian warships in the Black and Azov Seas, piers and other military facilities of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia located on the Crimean Peninsula; closure of the land corridor Crimea – Melitopol – Mariupol – Taganrog (Russian Federation)", wrote Chubarov.
The head of the Mejlis noted that the implementation of all actions, thanks to which conditions will be created for the liberation of Crimea, require high-precision shock weapons, primarily long-range artillery. And the task of blocking the land connection between the occupied Crimea and the territory of Russia itself will require, among other things, heavy military equipment, in particular, tanks.
"It turns out that the liberation of Southern Ukraine and Crimea in 2023 is directly related to the timely provision of the Armed Forces with highly effective military weapons: long-range artillery systems, aircraft and strike drones, and tanks. However, it is clear that everything will finally be resolved only thanks to the courage and determination of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine", Chubarov emphasized.
