According to the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, the possible negotiation process regarding the de-occupation of Crimea is going to be similar to "acts of capitulation of Russia".

He reported this in an exclusive comment to Krym.Realii.

"Sure, we want and we will do everything to avoid such bloody battles on the territory of the peninsula, but everything will show the course of this war. Since it is considered that the liberation of Crimea will take place in the last stages of the Russian-Ukrainian war, and at that time Russia will have a lot of internal problems. I personally do not rule out that the liberation of Crimea will take place, in particular, through such negotiation processes that will more closely resemble acts of capitulation of Russia," Chubarov said.

On October 1, the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with Natalia Moseichuk, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will enter Crimea by the end of spring 2023.
