The invaders can leave Crimea without a fight when they suffer several military defeats and realize that they will lose the war definitively.

This was stated by the adviser to the Head of the President's Office, Mykhailo Podoliak, in a video posted on his Instagram page.

"I think that in 6-8 months, Russia will lose a significant part of the occupied continental parts of Ukraine. Let me emphasize, a significant part. This also applies to the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

Regarding Crimea, this issue is simpler and more complicated at the same time, because when Russia suffers several significant defeats on the battlefield, I am not ready to say that it will defend Crimea. Maybe they will get out of there just technically when they understand that they will lose the war," he said.
