The Russian occupiers are already preparing for a Ukrainian counteroffensive and are moving to the defensive in certain areas of the front.
Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov stated this during a briefing with his Dutch colleague Kaisa Ollongren, reports LB.ua.
"The Russians took benefits from their lessons, so they have already gone on the defensive. They dig trenches and build fortifications. By the way, in Crimea as well," Reznikov said.
He emphasized that this means that the Russians are already preparing for defense and believe that Ukrainian forces will launch a counteroffensive.
"And this is a good sign. Because this is already the materialization of space. We are already creating the future, they have already lost. Once they went on the defensive in their "special military operation" - they have already lost," the minister said.
