The dry cargo Souria, which was spotted near the grain terminal in the port of Feodosia in Russian-occupied Crimea on August 1, ended up off the coast of Turkey. This was reported by "Krym.Realii" on August 14.

Journalists found out that the Souria, which functions under the flag of Syria, is on the external raid of the Turkish port of Bandirma in the Marmara Sea, as evidenced by the data of international vessel monitoring services.

"So far, there is no information that the dry cargo ship Souria entered the Turkish port. However, the data of the vessel's AIS automatic identification system, which allows to track the vessel in real time, indicate that the vessel is located directly next to the port of Bandirma," writes "Krym.Realii".

The project notes that Ukrainian law enforcement officials reported that after the open invasion of Russia into Ukraine, Ukrainian grain was being illegally exported.

"Part [of grain], according to journalistic investigations, is then delivered to the annexed Crimea, and from there it was taken by ship to Turkey, Egypt, and Syria; often on ships that do not sail under Russian flags", the journalists emphasize.
