The European Union will complete work on the tenth package of sanctions against Russia by the anniversary of the beginning of Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine on February 24.
This was stated by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during a meeting with media representatives in Kyiv together with President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukrinform reports.
"On the anniversary of the beginning of this full-scale invasion, we will have the tenth package of sanctions [of the EU against Russia. - ed.]", von der Leyen said.
The President of the European Commission emphasized that Russia will also be forced to pay for the destruction it caused and will have to provide funds for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
"That is, Russian state funds will go to the benefit of Ukraine. How to do it, we will decide", said the head of the European Commission.
