There is no agreement in the West on how Ukraine will deoccupy all the territories temporarily occupied by Russia. This opinion was expressed in an interview with “Yevropeyska Pravda” ("European Truth") by former Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.
Klimkin believes that the West does not currently have a common vision of how Russia's war against Ukraine will end.
"Even in the US administration, although there is a consensus on support for Ukraine and the move towards Russia's strategic defeat, there is no consensus on the final design of what this defeat will look like," said the former Foreign Minister.
According to him, there is no agreement in Europe as well.
“For example, Macron urges "not to humiliate Putin", Germany is in the same mood. Therefore, unfortunately, I do not see a consensus that would help Ukraine deoccupy all the occupied territories,” he said.
Klimkin stressed that he meant the lack of unanimity because there are those who support the liberation of all occupied territories.
