The winter was difficult, but Ukraine was provided with energy and heat.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated this in a video message on March 1.
He said that everyone who depends on the stability of the Ukrainian energy system took part in the energy meeting. Energy companies: "Naftogaz", "Energoatom", "Ukrenergo", "Ukrhydroenergo", the government, the Office of the President, the head of the specialized committee of the Verkhovna Rada, the military, and intelligence.
"This winter is over. It was very difficult, and every Ukrainian without any exception felt this difficulty. But still, we were able to provide Ukraine with energy and heat", said Zelenskiy.
According to him, the threat to the power system remains. But the work for the sake of the power system continues.
"At the energy meeting today, we recorded the current tasks to finish this heating season normally. And we have already started getting ready for the next season - each of the participants of the meeting received their tasks in this regard. If we see any risks, we find a solution," said the head of state.
