Three searches, two detentions, 15 arrests, two interrogations, interrogations and "conversations", and six fines were recorded in occupied Crimea in December 2021.

This was reported by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, when presenting an analysis of human rights violations in occupied Crimea in December 2021.

Moreover, all three searches took place in the homes of the Crimean Tatars. These are Kurtumer Chalgozov, Nariman Ametov, and Rustem Ibadlayev.

"15 arrests were recorded in December 2021. And all of them involve representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people," according to the report.

In addition, human rights activists reported 51 violations of the right to a fair trial.

“One case of violation of the right to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health is known. Within a month, this right was violated against Crimean political prisoner Ivan Yatskin. This case of violations is related to the deteriorating health of the political prisoner in the colony,” the report said.

The report also contained information on the tortures of detained Crimean Tatars Kultumer Chalgozov and Nariman Ametov.
