Today in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia)
the process of handing over foreign prisoners of war, who were freed by Ukraine
from Russian captivity, took place. This is reported by Rustem Umerov.
On the Facebook account, Umerov wrote about five citizens of
Great Britain, two citizens of the United States of America, and one
representative each of Sweden, Croatia, and Morocco. In addition, he expressed
gratitude to the representatives of Saudi Arabia for their support in the
process of exchanging prisoners of war.
"Thankful to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia, for his efforts in mediation and support for the release of prisoners of war," writes Umerov
As noted, the release of the foreigners was the order of the President of Ukraine.
