The US State Department stated that Ukraine has the opportunity to return all its territories within the borders of 1991, including temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was announced by State Department spokesman Matthew Miller at a briefing.
According to LIGA, he stated this while answering the question that US military aid is intended to return Ukraine to the borders of 1991. Miller added that Kyiv has the opportunity and the right to do so.
"We support Ukraine in protecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity," he said.
The diplomat noted that this includes not only the parts of Ukraine that Russia occupied after the start of the Great War but also Crimea.
"We made it clear for everyone," Miller summed up.
