Ukraine's Defence Minister Andriy Taran has submitted a letter of resignation, the fourth senior official to do so in the past 24 hours.
The Cabinet of Ministers' representative in the parliament, Taras Melnychuk, wrote on Telegram on November 2 that Taran’s resignation letter had been submitted to the Ukrainian Parliament Verkhovna Rada.
As reported, on November 2, Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Lyubchenko has submitted a letter of resignation after deputy Ministers, Oleksiy Reznikov and Oleh Uruskiy.
On November 1, the Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov submitted a letter of resignation to the Verkhovna Rada. On the same day, the Servant of the People faction decided to nominate Iryna Vereshchuk for this post. The faction also supported President Volodymyr Zelensky's decision to nominate Reznikov for the post of Ukraine's defence minister.
Media reports say parliament plans to discuss a government reshuffle this week.
