Ukrainian mobile carriers will create virtual phone numbers for residents living in the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov announced this during an interview with Ukrainian radio channel NV.

The Minister revealed that a Ukrainian mobile carrier had agreed to create virtual phone numbers for residents of the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

"Thanks to this, citizens of Ukraine who are currently living in the temporarily occupied territories will be able to get a virtual number and use all services, including banking and Diya application, that require a number of the Ukrainian mobile operator," Reznikov said.
