On December 5, Russia launched 70 missiles at Ukraine. Most of them were shot down. Four people died as a result of the massive rocket attack.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in a video message.

"The main result - 70 Russian missiles arrived, most were shot down. Calibers, Kh-101, etc. Thanks to all our soldiers of the air commands "East", "South" and "Center". Well done!," said Zelensky.

The head of state thanked the partners for the air defense systems currently used by Ukraine. Every downed Russian missile is concrete proof that terror can be defeated.

"But, unfortunately, we still cannot give complete security to our sky - there were several hits. Unfortunately, there are victims. As of this time, there are four people killed in Russian strikes this day. My condolences to families and friends", Zelensky said.

Energy workers immediately started restoration work. Maximum efforts are in the central regions of Ukraine: Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions. In many regions, it was necessary to switch to emergency shutdowns in order to stabilize the system.

"From Transcarpathia to the Kyiv region, from the Kirovohrad region to Sumy and Kharkiv regions. As of this evening, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Khmelnytsky, and Cherkasy regions have the most outages. But we will do everything to restore stability", noted the head of state.

The President said that Russian terror is once again affecting neighboring states. Interruptions with electricity in Moldova take place again.

"And this once again proves that Russia's ability to carry out such massive terrorist attacks is a threat not only to Ukraine, but to our entire region. At least. When one terrorist destabilizes everyone's life, it is a common task to stop terror", Zelensky emphasized.
