The world must impose the strongest sanctions to force Russia to peace and to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.

This is what the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (MFA) said in a statement in response to the nighttime attack.

“This night turned into a night of terror for Kremenchuk in Poltava region, as Russia launched a massive combined attack using missiles and drones. The attacks targeted energy and agricultural infrastructure. Explosions and debris caused fires, as well as damage to residential buildings and vehicles,” the statement said.

The Foreign Ministry emphasized that “Russia cannot be stopped by words alone.”

“It understands only the language of force. Today, the world must impose the strongest sanctions to force Russia to peace, as well as to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities to protect our people,” the statement said.
