The Southern District Military Court will try two residents of Sevastopol accused by Russians of preparing a terrorist attack

Two residents of Sevastopol are to be tried in occupied Crimea for allegedly preparing a terrorist attack.
This information was reported by Kremlin-linked Telegram channels.
According to the channels, a 51-year-old former Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman named Sergei Likhomanov was recruited by a Ukrainian special services officer in March 2023. Likhomanov then allegedly recruited his former colleague Ruslan Chorny-Shvets. Both men are accused of collecting and passing on information about Russian army facilities to Ukraine.
Likhomanov also allegedly received an improvised explosive device and other items for preparing a terrorist attack from the Ukrainian special services. He allegedly kept these items at home with the intention of blowing up one of the railway bridges in Sevastopol.
Both men will be 'tried' by the Southern District Military Court.
