Two residents of Sevastopol are to be tried in occupied Crimea for allegedly preparing a terrorist attack.

This information was reported by Kremlin-linked Telegram channels.

According to the channels, a 51-year-old former Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman named Sergei Likhomanov was recruited by a Ukrainian special services officer in March 2023. Likhomanov then allegedly recruited his former colleague Ruslan Chorny-Shvets. Both men are accused of collecting and passing on information about Russian army facilities to Ukraine.
